Current Statement

Accountability, documentation and next steps

In my experience, Arthur Lee Oxendale maintained multiple overlapping “relationships” while presenting ours as exclusive. I believe there was a repeated pattern in which he received money, transportation, housing, or other resources through these relationships, and I have documentation that appears to support that belief.

What it looks like to me is that he moves from woman to woman and relies on those relationships for financial and material support—including help with living expenses, transportation, money, and partying. That is how the pattern appears to me based on what I personally experienced and the information I have documented.

During our nearly three-year relationship, I experienced what I believe were multiple forms of abuse, along with substantial financial and property loss. I allowed him to use my car after he explicitly promised to return it in better condition. Instead, it was returned barely drivable and now needs tires, rear brakes, shocks, radiator repairs, and diagnosis of an oil leak—none of which, to my knowledge, were present when I entrusted the car to him. There is exterior and interior damage that I believe occurred while it was in his possession as well.

I am preserving the available evidence and intend to pursue repayment and accountability through appropriate legal channels. This statement reflects my personal experience, beliefs, and interpretation of the documented pattern; it is not a court finding. It may be updated as additional evidence is organized or circumstances change.

Arthur Lee Oxendale

What I wrote then. What I understand now.

Somewhere inside, I knew.
I just couldn't believe it.

This is the story of my relationship with Arthur Lee Oxendale, told partly through the words I wrote while I was still living it. It wasn't a clean journey from believing to knowing to leaving. For a long time, I knew things that I still couldn't make myself fully believe. Even now, my heart searches for reasonable explanations—anything that could explain all of this in a kinder, gentler way, without the glaring neon sign that says, “I got played.” If he were to appear before me right now and apologize, I can't say for sure what I would do. This is the result of a trauma bond. And it is said that no other addiction is more difficult to break.

Why didn't I just leave?

People ask that question about victims all the time. Looking back, I think the better question is: what was happening that made accepting the truth — and trusting my own perception of it — so difficult?

I didn't simply believe everything until one day I discovered the truth. I noticed things. I questioned things. Sometimes I knew. Then I doubted what I knew, defended him, hoped I was wrong, forgave, tried again, and found myself confronting the same truths later.

The writings below matter because many weren't written with hindsight. They show what I actually thought and felt while I was inside the relationship.

This is my personal account and archive. Posts labeled “Original writing” are reproduced from my surviving Facebook export. My recollections and interpretations are identified as such. Allegations are not presented as court findings unless independently documented.

Surviving Writings

The story as I was living it.

Some posts are missing. Posts were deleted during the relationship upon his request, so this archive does not pretend to be complete. What survived still preserves something hindsight cannot: the person I was at that exact moment.

“Wonderfully new and different.”

“Hopefully, this one will play... I absolutely LOVE that Lee does this. He is the first guy to make posts for/about me as well as many other things that are so wonderfully new and different for me. I'm so delighted and grateful.”

The relationship I thought I had

Knowing and defending at the same time

In one surviving post I was already writing about promises I believed had been broken, future-faking, abusive treatment, lies and cheating. And in that same writing I still stopped to defend the good I saw in him: “But at his core, his very essence, he is good.”

Knowing ≠ accepting

“What was the point? Why?”

After receiving screenshots, I wrote that I had discovered overlapping relationships and messages that continued after our engagement. I wrote: “The screenshots from his text messages that occurred after our engagement were the most painful.” I also recorded the two promises I had asked for: “to never cheat on me” and “to never hit me.”

The first documented rupture

“Double lives … or triple lives.”

“Also to give them space to lead their double lives ..or triple lives. So happy to be free of all of that.”

Seeing the overlap

“I really didn't want to believe it.”

“Every single one of them, I lived with him. I really didn't want to believe it when I began to see. I thought he was so wonderful in the beginning, but that's exactly what he wanted me to see. You can't get someone hooked on you by acting like an asshole.”

The mask and the hook

MAY 18, 2024 · ORIGINAL FACEBOOK WRITING

“Perfection appears.”

“His last message of the day, but he says these things to me throughout the entire day, everyday. He NEVER allows me to doubt or question and it means absolutely everything to me because this love is TRULY all that I've ever wanted.”

The love-bombed beginning

MAY 16, 2026 · ORIGINAL FACEBOOK WRITING

“When one door closes…”

I wrote about the questions his stories left behind, the effort I believed went into “cheating and sneaking and lying,” and the shock of spending time with someone who was simply kind. “There was no blame shifting, no projection, no blaming me for my reaction to your actions, no mind games, no twisting the truth.”

Recognizing what safety felt like

The Second Facebook Account

The account that was supposed to be “ours.”

We created another Facebook account intending it to be something we shared as a couple. That never became what I expected it to be. Eventually I took the account and began using it to write about what was happening in the relationship.

There is an irony in that I can't miss now: a space I thought would represent us became one of the places where I documented what “us” actually felt like from inside it.

Why This Exists

I'm not putting myself on trial.

I still fear being judged for how long I stayed, how often I hoped, and how long I could know something without being ready to fully believe it. But I don't want to edit those contradictions out of my story to make myself easier for strangers to understand.

So I'm leaving them in.

This archive will grow as I recover surviving Facebook posts, journals, screenshots and other writings. Missing pieces will be labeled as missing. Memories will be called memories. Documentation will be called documentation. I don't need to make the story cleaner than it was.
